Ice Cream Social / Community Day at Farmers Market

Past event

We're having an ice cream social on Sunday, July 14!

Early birds can start the day with a yoga class with Venus at 9:00 in the shady part of the park between the Owlkill and Main Street.

At 10:00, market and ice cream begin. The Washington County Dairy Princess will be scooping and ready to answer your dairy questions. While the ice cream is free thanks to a generous donation from Stewart's, your contributions to the Cambridge Food Pantry would be greatly appreciated as they are seeing record demand.

We'll have two community tents on 7/14. The Cambridge Food Pantry will be there with information on their work, how to access the pantry, and how to volunteer. Hubbard Hall will also be set up with information about their summer performances including the traveling Shakespeare (Twelfth Night)—back after a long hiatus.

Sunday's music will be by Dan Costello.

Sunday's hyperlocal vendors include:

Earth Sky Time Farm (bread and more)
Caz Acrez (goat cheese and soap)
Joint Venture Farm (pork and eggs)
Long Days Farm (blueberries, blackberries, garlic, veggies)
Happenchance Farm (certified organic veggies)
Lot 32 Flowers (bouquets)
Coffee and (baked goods) last chance this month!
Bare Roots Family Farm (beef)
South Dominion Vineyard (wine)
Adirondack Seafood (fish, chowder, and other prepared seafood)
518 Farms (fresh mushrooms, mushroom tinctures and powders)

Our new coffee/beverage vendor hopes to start at the end of the month. In the meantime, we suggest you grab your Sunday am caffeine at the Cambridge Food Coop, which opens at 9:00 am. They have Battenkill Valley Milk and cream in glass bottles too!

Market runs from10:00 to 1:00 at Owlkill Commons, 17 W.Main Street, Cambridge, NY 12816. Bring your family and your market basket! Friendly leashed pups welcome.
