Dipped in Moonlight, featuring April Streeter, Samuel Guihan, Tristen Sellars, and Benj Spound will make its first visit to the TNL Outdoor Stage at Legion Field on School Street as Johnson's Tuesday Night Live continues on July 16th. The group started in January 2023 by playing rock music from the 1960s and 1970s but have added funk, jazz, folk, and blues. From 6 PM to 8:30 PM enjoy their music while you dance, sing, boogie and swing.
Tuesday Night Live is free thanks to the support of local businesses. Just bring a blanket or chair. A variety of vendors with food, including the Historical Society with slices of homemade pie, will be on site or bring your own picnic. Parking is along School Street, in the Elementary School lot, and at the McClelland Building parking lot on College Hill. Rain or shine. Summer showers may dampen the enthusiasm for a few minutes so you may want to bring an umbrella; but, it is only lightning and thunder that stops the music.
Subsequent Tuesday Night performances include: July 23rd The Steppes, and July 30th Beg, Steal or Borrow. The August schedule is August 6th TEKE::Teke, August 13th Rik Palieri & George Mann, August 20th The Shady Trees and August 27th Soul Project NOLA.
Tuesday Night Live is planned and delivered by a volunteer committee of the town of Johnson. All are welcome, free. Please remember that dogs are not allowed on the Legion Field during the event. For information contact 802 730-2943.
