Throughout July, the Friends' special topic shelves at the bookstall feature cookbooks and books about food and cooking. With over 100 nearly new cookbooks on sale, you're sure to find something to suit your taste. Check them out on your next trip to the library.

Join the Friends of the Fletcher Free Library on August 3 and 4, Saturday and Sunday, for a book sale on the library lawn, the same weekend as the Festival of Fools. The sale features history, biography, classics and youth books, as well as a variety of fiction and non-fiction, DVDs, and audiobooks. Help us find new homes for these gems while helping to raise money for library programming: a win-win proposition! Don't get fooled, and mark your calendars now, and you won't miss out on great books at bargain prices. (In case of inclement weather, the sale will be in the Main Reading Room.)
