"JAZZ CAFE" CONCERTS CONTINUE AT STONE VALLEY ARTS IN POULTNEY
Stone Valley Arts presents on July 17th @ 7:00pm another great jazz concert featuring saxophonist Steve MacLauchlan accompanied by the New Kanon Jazz Trio.
Steve has been performing throughout the Northeast since the mid 70's and as a Vermont Jazz Ensemble alumnus, he has been heard as a featured soloist on alto and tenor sax and jazz flute. He has worked extensively in Vermont with bands such as the Red Clover Trio, the Latin Jazz Band Mogani, Jazz/Blues singer Sandra Wright, Blue Jay Way and recording artist/song writer James Mee.
The New Kanon Jazz Trio members are Ron White on upright bass, Nick Aloi on drums and Gary Schmidt on piano. Light refreshments will be available and BYOB is acceptable.
The Jazz Cafe at Stone Valley Art offers a unique opportunity to hear and enjoy live jazz music performed by professional Vermont musicians. The Jazz cafe is free, open to the public. Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill is a community art center located at 145 E. Main St., Poultney, Vermont.
