Hi Neighbors,
My name is Stoni Tomson, and I'm the vegetable grower at New Tradition Farm, which is graciously hosted by Jubilee Farm. Our operation is a salad-centric, hand-scale farm devoted to producing the highest quality of vegetables in a way that makes the earth sing.
This Sunday I'll be hosting another salad tasting at the Jubilee Farm Stand (4582 Main Road) from 11-1pm---my gift to the awesome community of Huntington!
Come on down to try some farm fresh salads starring mixed greens (lettuce, arugula etc.), carrots, beets, scallions, and our delicious sunflower, radish, and pea shoots, which elevate eating a salad to a nearly spiritual experience. There will be an informal farm tour at the end for folks who would like to take a closer look at our field.
Also--I'll post about this separately soon, but I'm searching for a meticulous and dependable worker who can water plants and sanitize harvest totes each Sunday morning. I can pay $20/hr plus a bit of leftover vegetables from the farmers markets.
