The Craftsbury Chamber Players' 58th Season runs this year from July 10th until August 15th.
The Players will perform chamber music by a diverse assortment of composers spanning multiple eras each Wednesday (July 10, 17, 24, 31, August 7, 14) at Elley-Long Music Center in Colchester and Thursday (July 11, 18, 25, August 1, 8, 15) at the Hardwick Town House in Hardwick.
The first concert week is grounded in very traditional classical and romantic fare. Our second week features the theremin, a wild electronic instrument that literally pulls music out of thin air. The third week includes the music of Beethoven as well as three composers whose names you may not know but should! Week four finds us immersed in the 1920s and the jazz era's influence on composers. Schubert fans will be very happy to hear two of his best-loved works on our fifth week and the star of our sixth week is the clarinet.
We hope you will join us for another exciting season of inspiring performances!
