FREE Community Theater! Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella in the style of the original 1957 version developed for a live television broadcast.
Cinderella, her cruel stepfamily, royalty, and a fairy godmother will tell the timeless tale of dreams, magic, and the power of belief.
" ..As "Cinderella" is sprinkled with enchantment, QuarryWorks Theater is also among the most enchanting theaters in the area. This 50-seat theater is situated alongside a former quarry — jagged granite walls reflect in the pond, old machine parts sit like sculptures around the grounds, and landscaping and seating along the quarry edge welcome pre-show picnicking.
Founded by the late Frank Suchomel and Michael Suchomel in the 1990s with the vision that "the arts are for everyone," QuarryWorks Theater's performances, as well as concerts and exhibitions at the Frank Suchomel Memorial Arts Center in Adamant, are always free.
Suchomel and the company emphasize that "Cinderella" is very child-friendly and that children and adults are invited to dress up for the show — ballgowns and tiaras are welcome."
