Thermal Energy Networks July 17

Past event
Jul 17, 2024, 12 to 8 PM

The Montpelier node of 350VT is hosting a summer climate event series, bringing engaging lectures and workshops to Washington County this summer.

Want to learn more about how weatherization or thermal energy networks can make tangible climate impacts, while helping us become more resilient? How about the upcoming people-powered campaigns you can be a part of to make a difference? This monthly series will educate, offer resources, and introduce ways to take action with your climate-concerned neighbors.

Please join us on Wednesday, July 17th, from 6-8pm at the Unitrian Church in Montpelier, for our next workshop.

Thermal Energy Networks
This past legislative session, towns across Vermont were given the green light to take community control of this innovative heating and cooling technology. Join Debbie New of Vermont Community Thermal Networks as we break down what Thermal Energy Networks are, why they are a sustainable and resilient clean energy solution, and discuss how your town can join the growing movement to implement these networks across the state.

July 17 - Thermal Energy Networks
Aug 14 - Theory of Change
Sept 25 - Where the Rubber Meets the Road

Food will be provided. We can provide childcare with advance notice (please RSVP to do so).
