The Craftsbury Chamber Players is a six-week chamber music festival with performances at Colchester's Elley-Long on Wednesdays and Craftsbury on Thursdays.
The new season begins with the glorious String Quartet no. 21 in D major, K 575 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concluding work on this program is Robert Schumann's Piano Quintet in E-flat Major, op. 44, one of the greatest and most expressive works in the chamber music literature.
The performers are Andrew Adelson, oboe, Zenas Hsu and Katherine Winterstein, violins, Kenji Bunch, viola, Frances Rowell, cello, and Monica Ohuchi, piano.
