Master Gardener Sue Cromwell will explain why Jumping Worms are a threat to Vermont gardens, woodlands, and agriculture, then Penny Miller will give participants a hands-on opportunity to identify the worms and learn practical steps for controlling their population. This program begins with an indoor presentation at 10, and moves outside to the library garden at 10:30, rain or shine. Participants may attend both or either parts. This workshop qualifies for UVM Extension Master Gardener continuing education credits.
