July 13, Johnson, VT 11:00 – 2:30
Come learn how the Regional Invasive Insect Preparedness Team (RIIPT) protected forests in Lamoille and Franklin Counties from emerald ash borer. By working collaboratively made plans for the emerald ash borer in five towns and had fun doing it! This engaging model can be applied to other pests threatening our forests.
Afterwards, join us for an optional potluck lunch and learn about the Forest Pest First Detector program and visit the Johnson Community Arboretum to learn about their treated ash trees.
