Bring your silverware to Election Day! Bring all your silverware that doesn't match or doesn't fit in the drawer. We will reuse it! Support CVU in its efforts to reduce its plastic waste.

Who: The Williston Sustainability group and CVU Environmental Action Club are joining forces.
What: A silverware drive
When: Election Day on Tuesday November 4th.
Where: At the HInesburg Town Hall.
Why: Plastic cutlery is non-biodegradable, which can leach toxic chemicals when handled improperly, and is widely used. Worldcentric.org estimates 40 billion plastic utensils are used every year in just the United States. The majority of these are thrown out after just one use.
