Calling all young and aspiring singers and fans of sensational voice!
Project Serenade showcases the talents of Vermont teen singers from different local high schools, performing musical theater and opera songs.
Five to seven Youth Opera members will perform solo and in ensembles with each other accompanied by Mary Jane Austin, principal keyboardist of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra.
After the performance, Sarah Cullins, the Youth Opera Director of Education and Outreach, will host a round table Q&A with audience members. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn from Sarah and the youthful performers about what it's like to learn to sing and explore opera and musical theater.
