On Friday afternoon, Andy Belanger, the graphic artist for Kill Shakespeare, will be talking about creating art and being a comic artist at the Chaplin Hall Gallery. On the evenings of Friday and Saturday, November 7-8, the Norwich Pegasus Players will perform a production of Kill Shakespeare.

Kill Shakespeare is a twelve-issue comic book that deals with William Shakespeare’s characters and Shakespeare himself. These famous characters are brought to life and they either long to kill Shakespeare or to protect him. This comic book series was drawn by Andy Belanger. The first issue was published in 2010. A second series, the five-issue The Tide of Blood, was released in 2013. A third series, The Mask of Night, was announced on March 10, 2014. The first twelve issues of Kill Shakespeare were adapted into a live staged reading format in 2011, and this is what Pegasus Players will be bringing to life.
