Protecting Forests on a Regional Level!
Saturday, July 13th, 11:00 - 12:00, Johnson, VT (with optional additional activities)
Come learn how volunteers from five towns helped residents in Lamoille and Franklin Counties plan for emerald ash borer. Working collaboratively, this group made plans for the emerald ash borer in five towns and had fun doing it! Their engaging model can be applied to other invasive pests threatening our forests. Afterwards, join us for an optional potluck lunch and learn about the Forest Pest First Detector program and visit the Johnson Community Arboretum to learn about their treated ash trees.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED by July 10th. REGISTER HERE: https://go.uvm.edu/omd50
