As food costs and inflation continue to rise in Vermont, more and more of our friends and neighbors are finding themselves in a state of food insecurity. Food pantries around the state are seeing high numbers of people coming for assistance. But collective and community gardening can help to alleviate some of the pressure, in a small way, to provide food to those in need.
There will be a meeting on Wednesday, July 10, at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center at St John Vianney Church, 160 Hinesburg Rd, to gauge interest and discuss the possibility of starting a new Collective/Community Garden. Please join us to ask questions, share your ideas, and/or show your support.
