THE ROOT CENTER
The Root Center is a local 501c3 non-profit located in Lincoln, Vermont dedicated to providing the basic necessities of life with the use of passive-solar dome structures designed by Board member David Allard of Allard Engineering. While raising funds for constructing a greenhouse dome at their new location in Lincoln, they have grown and donated over 8,000 lbs of produce and medicinal herbs to those in greatest need in the State of Vermont since 2010. Support this completely volunteer-run effort by eating at The Bobcat this coming Wednesday, November 5th and talk to members of the board to learn more about dome technology and building resilient communities.
