We are fundraising to help the parents of Sr. Joyce, a member of the Franciscan Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who is currently working as a missionary in France. Sr. Joyce and her family are from Coonoor, India, a rainy, cold location where there are tea estates, the only source of income for the community. During recent rains, part of her parents' house collapsed. They need to raise $6,000 to rebuild and expand the house so there is space for Sr. Joyce to stay when she visits. She lives on 50 euros a month for her expenses, insufficient to be able to help her parents. Dinner includes: chicken curry, potatoes, paratha, tomato rice, and a small dessert. $15. Deadline to order is Monday, July 22nd.
