Vermont Forest Cemetery Presents
From Earth to Earth: The Lost Art of Dying in America
Join us for our Huntington premiere of our short documentary, "From Earth to Earth, The Lost Art of Dying in America". Natural burial is a way to give back to the planet that sustains us in life and this documentary showcases the beauty and significance of the experience, including the first burial performed at Vermont Forest Cemetery in Roxbury, VT. Following the premiere there will be a question and answer session, featuring our Founder and Head Cemeterian Michelle Hogle Acciavatti, and board member and former Executive Director of Rural Vermont, Andrea Stander. Come witness how Vermont Forest Cemetery is preserving the environment, honoring loved ones, and creating a legacy of sustainability.
Date: 7/21/24
Time: 4-5:30pm
Location: Huntington Public Library, 2156 Main Road.
Let's come together to celebrate life, nature, and the profound impact of environmentally friendly end-of-life choices. We can't wait to share this special evening with you! Tickets are available by donation. As a non-profit cemetery, all proceeds go to support the mission of Vermont Forest Cemetery.
Please send any questions that you may have for our speakers to alynnlavoie@gmail.com prior to the event, if possible.
