The first of six musical acts taking to the town hall stage this summer for our Adventure Awaits Summer Reading Concert Series, Mad is a theatrical synth pop outfit out of Burlington.
They're like if The B-52's had a baby with They Might Be Giants and that baby was winked at, once, coquettishly, at a party, by both Dave Grohl and Cyndi Lauper. But really, they're difficult to compare to any other artist or pre-existing genre. They're constantly adding new sonically and lyrically unique songs to their set and have played at ArtHop, Waking Windows, Festival of Fools and other venues and DIY fests in VT and beyond!
Whether you want to dance, laugh, or be thoroughly entertained there's a lot to be happy about with Mad.
