It's time for another Hardwick Shindig! Join your neighbors for an afternoon of dancing, eating, and surprises at Atkins Field in Hardwick, Sunday July 21 at 4pm. For your dancing and listening pleasure, we've imported The Big Dixie Swingers from New Orleans. Bring your chairs and blankets. No glass please. This is a FREE event, and all are welcome.

The Big Dixie Swingers prove to the world that Western Swing has a unique drive and rhythm that is nearly lost in modern vernacular music. Their sound is "infused with show tune-pop sensibility and the kind of presentation that can only be learned by performing for your supper on the streets." This event is a project of the Civic Standard, and is made possible by the Better Places Program, and your donations.
