Lamoille Home Health & Hospice Fund Raiser "Concert"

Past event
Jul 12, 2024, 6 to 8 PM

Our community is invited to the 2nd Congregational Church in Hyde Park, Friday, July 12th, 6:00 p.m. for an evening of "instrumental music of World-Fusion, Jazz, Tribal, Earthy, Ethereal, Space and last-but-not-least Romantic" by Danny Granstaff. "Improvisational instrumental music played and performed to the Glory of God, opens the heart, spirit and soul. As it is performed, it will continue to keep these three open. In regards to Art, enable the viewer to see deeper, in regards to Music, enable the listener to hear what cannot be spoken, in regards to Life, enable the feeler to touch what is not physical, and in regards to the Mind, enable the thinker to reconsider what is. It is a wordless conversation which needs no outward explanation because it is inwardly understood", says Danny. Danny is a finger-style guitarist creating, writing and performing his own instrumental music. Danny and his wife moved to Vermont four years ago, and both live and work in the Lamoille Valley area.

There is a suggested donation of $10.00 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Lamoille Home Health & Hospice Chaplaincy Program. Hospice Chaplains provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families during end-of-life care. They offer comfort, compassion, and prayer services. As trained listeners, they provide a safe space for individuals to share their fears, joys and hopes as they deal with the transition of life.

This concert is organized by Danny Granstaff of Lamoille Home Health & Hospice and the 2nd Congregational Church. For more information, Danny can be contacted at 270 625-9670 or John Clark at 802 888-4864. We hope to see you there!
