NEW TAI CHI CLASSES are beginning at Twin Valley Senior Center in East Montpelier.
Tai Chi is a series of gentle movements that have been shown to offer many health benefits including improved balance, reduced arthritis symptoms, and reduced stress. The Harvard Medical School and The Mayo Clinic have published findings on the health benefits of Tai Chi. All are welcome with no age restrictions. It's fun, so give it a try!
We have offerings for beginners and those with experience. Read below to find a class that fits you:
Fall Prevention-Sun Style for beginners starts Friday, July 12th at 9:15 AM. No experience required.
Fall Prevention-Sun Style continuing practice for people with some experience in the style, starts Wednesday, July 10th at 1PM.
Yang 24 Style, which is the most practiced form throughout the world, starts Friday, July 12th at 10:30 AM. This class is open to all levels.
All classes are taught by Tai Chi Vermont certified instructors and sponsored by Central Vermont Council on Aging. There are no fees charged for the classes however donations to TVSC are appreciated.
