Celebrate Independence Day in Castleton!

The Friends of the Castleton Recreation Department, the Town of Castleton, and the Castleton Free Library are proud to host this year's Independence Day festivities. All the fun is on Saturday, July 6th.

The day kicks off with a parade at 10:00 am on Main Street. The parade features cool cars, horses, floats, vehicles, pedestrians, music and more! Stay in town for the After Party on the lawn of the Castleton Free Library. As soon as the parade ends, the After Party begins. The Friends of the Castleton Recreation Department will have an obstacle course for kids and a kid's craft. The library lawn will be filled with lawn games, a face painting station, and a make your own flag craft. Come listen and dance to live music. A food truck will be open for hungry party goers. The After Party ends at 12:30.

At Crystal Beach a DJ will be providing tunes in the pavilion beginning at 7:00 pm. Stay at Crystal Beach for fireworks starting at approximately 9:00 pm. The fireworks are sponsored by the Town of Castleton. Please consider making a monetary donation at the front entrance to assist in covering the cost of the events.
In case of rain, the fireworks will be held the following day, Sunday, July 7th.

See the town website: https://www.castletonvermont.org/home/events/51156 or the library website: http://castletonfreelibrary.org for more info.

We hope to see you at the celebration!
