Thank you for your previous volunteer work at the bridge. It did help. The wetland crossing rebuild stands out as a great volunteer effort.
On June 15th and June 26th my sons and I worked at the bridge. We had nobody else helping on June 15th and one person helped on the 26th. We need more volunteers to finish this project. My sons are not willing to be the sole volunteers for this project. Without more volunteers, most of the work will have to be completed by contractors meaning that we can not receive funds to help defray the local cost of the
cleanup . Helping out on a common cause can help build interest in the bridge and a stronger community.
Please show up Saturday morning 6/29/24 at 9:00 AM. Our focus will be on building the post and rail fence but there is plenty to do: weed whip around the bridge, the lawns and the stone circle, trim bushes, remove some bushes, clear weeds and bushes on the slopes in front of the bridge and after the bridge (right side) pick up remaining debris and more.
