Learn how to make tasty beverages with flavors wildcrafted or picked from the garden at Peace of Earth Farm. July is a time of abundance at the farm. We will have many kinds of fruits, herbs, and flowers to choose from to create tasty beverages together. The workshop will include lots of sampling and participants will go home with basic recipes and lots of ideas around how to be creative with what you have at home. The workshop will focus on making water kefir (a probiotic "soda"), shrub (an old fashioned energy drink involving fruit/sweetener/herbs and vinegar) and hot/cold infusions (tea). All beverages are non-alcoholic but could be the basis of a cocktail in the future if that is what you are into. Come get creative and see what surprising flavor combos are available in the field, forest and garden to make delicious cold beverages.
