Community Care Network, along with partners RRMC Women's Health, Rutland County Head Start, Vermont Dept of Health, Wonderfeet Kids' Museum, and more, host Rutland Climb for Perinatal Mental Health to take place on June 29 at Pittsford Recreation Area. Parenthood is a journey filled with joys and challenges, but for some, the transition to parenthood can be overwhelming, leading to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. In Vermont, these disorders affect 1 in 4 parents, highlighting the urgent need for awareness and support. The event provides support, raises awareness and funds for Postpartum Support International, including VT Chapter of PSI. The Rutland Climb welcomes everyone affected by perinatal mental health concerns, including parents, partners, foster, kin, and adoptive caregivers. Attendees can participate in various activities for both kids and parents, access valuable resources, and have the chance to win awesome door prizes and raffles. Walk together on the shady Pittsford Rec trails. Visit Climb Rutland VT Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ClimbRutlandVT) for more details or email lnorford@rmhsccn.org
