Your work to improve equity, inclusion, and belonging in Winooski is valued and critical to making progress. To build on momentum and excitement, please join us for the follow-up community meeting:

Thursday, June 27, 2024
5 PM at the O'Brien Community Center (32 Malletts Bay Ave)

The goal of this meeting will be to discuss and prioritize ideas on what community members can do about the feedback provided on the 22nd.

To prepare for the meeting, consider how residents/students/community members in Winooski can:

Create Opportunities for Young People
Improve Community Safety
Improve Safety Walking, Biking, Rolling, and Bus Transportation
Organize Clean up and Beautification Activities
Advocate for Winooski Grocery Store
Create Unity through Cultural Exchange and Relationship Building
Address Housing Needs
Help People Participate in City Government

Community member feedback from the previous event has been collected and will be presented during the meeting to get the conversation started. To be respectful of everyone's time, conversations during this meeting should be focused on the goal above. City and School officials will be available to answer questions about other topics by phone or email after this event.
