Join us for a book reading and discussion of "Our Better Nature" by Curt Lindberg and Eric Hagan as part of the Tri-Town Conservation Commission Biodiversity Series and the Climate and Ecology Book Club.
This discussion will be held on Thursday, July 11th from 6 - 7:30 pm at the Red Barn at Lareau Farm and is hosted by Friends of the Mad River and Waitsfield, Fayston, and Warren Conservation Commissions.
We'll start with a book reading by one of the authors, Curt Lindberg, and George Schenk (the inspiration for one of the essays in the book), followed by a discussion and reflection on individual actions we can take to improve biodiversity and ending with a farm tour of the biodiversity features of Lareau Farm. Free book copies will be available to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
