Beginning Fiddle Workshop with Jeanne Miller
Ages: All ages welcome. Students under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: $20 per class or $100 in advance. (Minimum of 4 students to hold the class)
Dates: 11/8, 11/15, 11/22 and 12/6, 12/13, 12/20

Location: The Village Hall, Parker Pie
In this course students will begin with the basics of how to hold the bow and the instrument. Students will be playing simple tunes in a very short time. After six weeks, students will have a small repertoire of standard fiddle tunes. In this class students will learn: holding the fiddle, bowing with confidence, G scale, quarter note & eighth note rhythms as well as other beginner fiddle tunes. Students are encouraged to record the class. Sibling discounts available.
