I am excited about this workshop at the Peace & Justice Center because I want every person to build skills within themselves to confront injustice. I am incredibly encourages when movements for social justice empower and include all people. Workshops like this seek to help us all better understand, address and resolve conflict. I think that one of the most powerful way to undo systems of oppression is to empower all people to participate in changing them in whatever way they can and/or empowering people to actively refuse to participate in them.

Everyone needs to start somewhere and we all need support in this work. Why not be a part of a short training that is only $5 and could get you started in addressing conflict constructively and/or build your support network. If you would like to participate but the fee is deterring that please sign up and come anyways. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
