The former Brattleboro Outlet Center at 580 Canal Street was transformed two years ago into the Vermont Marketplace, a collection of shops & restaurants, conveniently located immediately off Exit 1. This wonderful collection of businesses is an under-appreciated Brattleboro gem.
To help promote more awareness of the offerings at the Vermont Marketplace, the various businesses are holding a July 4th Weekend Promotion. Visitors stopping by Friday, July 5 through Sunday, July 7 can enter into a give-away of Gift Certificates and other special gifts. Some of the businesses will also have special sales over that weekend.
The Vermont Marketplace has several eateries, clothing stores, a salon and spa, an apothecary, local crafts and gifts, and a terrific tailor. Food options include Amaru, Peruvian food; BAR 580 ; Biker Bob's Burgers and Dogs; and Soul N Rico, Puerto Rican food. You can pamper yourself at The Good Spot or at Mountain Styles Salon.
