Pollinator Pathway of Lamoille County will host a Rain Garden tour in cooperation with Lamoille County Conservation District this Saturday. Meet Deb Adams and Peter Danforth at the end of Prospect Street, Hyde Park 10AM, rain or shine.
This guided tour of local rain garden is an opportunity to observe the benefits of collecting/redirecting rain water to gardens and elsewhere. There will be a brief talk on design and structural mechanics, the backbones of rain garden functions. The talk will focus on the use of native plants that attract birds, bees, and other pollinators. Handouts. Q&A to follow.
