Sat. July 6: ART on the HARDWICK TRAILS @ 9:00am with Susan Sawyer
Come join Susan Sawyer, artist-teacher-naturalist, for "Drawing the Forest from the Inside." Participants will have a slow walk on the trails, with stops to sit and draw. There will be drawing tips, encouragement, and occasional demos, as well as discussion of natural history. This is a walk for those who love being in the woods to spend time looking closer. Bring your sketchbook tool kit if you have one; if not, we will supply what you need.
A cushion for sitting is a nice thing to have, as are bug repellent, a hat, and water, and something — tote or backpack — to carry your materials in.
We will cancel if it's raining at all.
The Hardwick Trails Committee sponsors this free event and welcomes all ages. We meet at the Hardwick Trails Kiosk behind Hazen Union School parking lot.
