Since the W5NPA will not be meeting during the summer months of July and August, you are hereby invited to attend a neighborhood meeting hosted by three (3) property owners of underutilized parcels to introduce a proposed mixed-use, mixed-income development planned near the intersection of Pine
Street and Lakeside Avenue.
WHO: Ride Your Bike, LLC / Champlain College / City of Burlington (respectively, the owners of 125 Lakeside Ave / 175 Lakeside Ave / 68 Sears
Lane). Collectively, the Parties are known as South End Coordinated Redevelopment, or SECORD
WHAT: SECORD [https://www.burlingtonvt.gov/CEDO/Capital-Projects-Financing/SouthEnd] is a mixed-use redevelopment proposed for the 3-parcel, 13.3 acre assemblage owned by the Parties. Conceptual site plans will be presented describing the proposed development program including the themes and values supporting the plans. You will have an opportunity ask questions to learn more about this important initiative close to your South End neighborhood or place of business.

WHERE: 175 Lakeside Ave (Champlain College Miller Center): Rooms 101+102
WHY: SECORD is a collaborative effort initiated by the Parties to redevelop the three parcels as an equitable, economically dynamic and climate-forward response to Burlington's housing crisis. While the three parcels can be redeveloped individually, the SECORD parties agree that, through collaboration, an optimal outcome can be realized to transform 13+ acres of surface parking lots into a mixed use/mixed income, pedestrian friendly, forward looking, urban neighborhood ready to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. The proposed SECORD development program incorporates new land use regulations contained in the South End Innovation District (SEID) Zoning Overlay [https://www.burlingtonvt.gov/cityplanning/SEID] adopted by BTV last summer after a 2-year public engagement process.
