Williston Memories:
An Independence Day Celebration of Community

On July 4th, as part of our town celebration of Independence Day, We would like to capture some of your favorite memories of Williston. During the celebration, before, during, and after the parade, Williston Historical Society member Steve Shepard will be set up in the Old Schoolhouse adjacent to the town gazebo with a recorder and microphone to capture Williston's best memories. All you have to do is drop in and talk. He will then combine them into a Collection of stories, which will be made available to everyone in audio and printed form. So start thinking about your best memories and recollections—fun, silly, scary, poignant, and just plain odd—and come prepared to share them with us on July 4th. We hope to see you there!
