We wish to inform the community about the upcoming planned closure of VT 14 and the associated construction activities. The 21-day closure of VT 14 between Vesper Road and Meadow Lane has been confirmed to begin on Tuesday, July 9th at 6:00 p.m. and will end on Monday, July 29th, 2024. Please note that ECI is aiming to complete the work ahead of schedule and reopen VT 14 earlier than planned, if possible. Additionally, the 134-hour closure of the Railroad is scheduled to start on Thursday, July 11th at 6:00 a.m. and will end on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, at 8:00 p.m.
During the 21-day VT 14 closure, traffic will be rerouted. The designated regional detour route is VT Route 14 to VT Route 107 and Interstate 89, back to VT Route 14. Upon completion of the roadwork, and once VT 14 is reopened, traffic will flow under the new bridge on the newly aligned roadway.
