Celebrate summer, good books, and the wonderful authors and illustrators who live in (and near) our community! Join us on the Town Green on Saturday, June 29th, from 10am to 1pm in order to:
*meet some incredible authors and illustrators who create books for all ages
*listen to a book reading
*buy a book by a local author or illustrator and have it signed
*make your own buttons and bookmarks
*play lawn games
*visit our Pride-themed tie dye booth (We will have handkerchiefs and scrunchies available to tie dye, but please feel free to bring your own shirts, pillowcases, or other cotton items, too)
*make and play with giant bubbles
*and more!
Some of our visiting authors have agreed to read to us! Here is our schedule of book readings:
10am: Max Folsom will read from the book Death of a Codebreaker, a mystery novel for adults
10:20am: DonnaRae Menard will read from Murder in the Meadow, a mystery novel for adults
10:40am: Karen Stoneman will read A Balanced Friendship, a picture book for preschoolers
11am: Trish Esden will read from The Art of the Decoy, a mystery novel for adults
11:20am: Maeve Kim will read from A First for Ivy Pritchard, a novel for adults
11:40am: Wendy Tyson will read from Murder on Devil's Pond, a mystery novel for adults published under the pen name Ayla Rose
