Join the Colchester Conservation Commission and Rethink Runoff (rescheduled due to weather) - now at 6pm on Tuesday, June 25th at the entrance to South Bay Circle in Colchester for an evening of water quality art! The group will be using stencils and colorful paints to raise awareness about the importance of keeping storm drains clean from debris. This all ages event is part creativity, part educational awareness of the importance in keeping Lake Champlain clean.
Paint, stencils, and light refreshments will be provided. Please contact DPW@colchestervt.gov with any questions.
Can't attend but still interested in keeping basins clean? Check out https://vt.adopt-a-drain.org, an opportunity to adopt a Town storm drain as part of a citizen science effort aimed at documenting the volume and types of debris found in or near basins.
