"Hooked on Rugs" Silent Auction

Friday, June 21st, 2024 - Saturday, August 31st, 2024.

The Henry Sheldon Museum is auctioning 30 beautiful, hooked rugs that were handmade by longtime Sheldon Museum staff and community member, Suzanne Douglas.

The rugs are available for view on the Museum website at https://www.henrysheldonmuseum.org/hookedrugs. The online gallery includes size, starting bid and rug condition. Bidding is welcome in $50 increments.

All bidding will take place in-person at the Museum or people can phone in their bid by calling 802-388-2117. Bidding opens on Friday, June 21st at 4:30pm and closes on Saturday, August 31st at 12pm. Shipping is available.

The Sheldon Museum staff and board remember Suzanne's tireless work for the museum and extend their thanks to her friends and family, who generously donated her pieces to the Sheldon Museum as a fundraiser after her sudden passing in January 2024.
