Carrie Phillips, Director of Pharmacy at Copley Hospital, will discuss how to determine if a nutritional supplement is what it says it is and where to find reliable information on its actual effectiveness and safety. Discussion will include the regulations around the manufacture of nutritional supplements, drug interactions between nutritional supplements and other medications and more.
