Our second parsnip removal session will happen at Morse Park Saturday evening at 7:00. The Monkton Conservation Commission would love to have your help. Come armed with a parsnip shovel or other removal tool that works for you, heavy gloves, and protective clothing. We also recommend bug/tick spray and water.
We'll meet at the lower parking lot by Monkton Central School. We hope to see you there!
Weather reports do show the possibility of thunderstorms. We won't be deterred by light rain showers, but will cancel if there is heavy rain or lightning.
We're also planning a third session for Thursday evening, June 27th, from 7:00 to 8:30. If Saturday evening doesn't work for you, we hope that Thursday night will.
