Kick off your Summer Reading Adventure in the AC at The Waterbury Public Library this Saturday, June 22nd at 10:30 am with a visit from VINS (The Vermont Institute of Natural Science) . An Environmental Educator will lead us on an imagined journey across the United States to encounter some resident raptors in their ecosystems. We'll learn about the habitat needs of each species, as well as their range and behavior in the wild. Who knows whoooo we'll encounter? Following the program, don't forget to sign up for summer reading to earn a free book, a PRIZE, and your very own summer reading bag that you can personalize at our decoration station! This program is funded by a grant from The VT Department of Libraries.
