Come and meet your Democratic Vermont State Legislative candidates!

A 'meet and greet' event has been arranged for the public to meet our local Statehouse candidates for 2024, at Snowfarm Vineyard, on Sunday June 30, from 3:30 to 5 pm. Snowfarm's 'cash bar' will operate as usual, and (complimentary) appetizers will be provided.

Running as VT House Representative are Josie Leavitt of Grand Isle (Incumbent) and Luke Richter of Alburgh. This district includes the 5 'island towns' of Alburgh, Isle la Motte, North Hero, Grand Isle and South Hero.

Running for VT Senate are Julie Hulburd of Colchester, and Andy Julow of North Hero. The district includes South Hero, Grand Isle town, North Hero, Isle la Motte and part of Colchester. (but not Alburgh). As you may recall, Dick Mazza has held this seat for many years. Andy Julow was appointed to fill Dick Mazza's seat after the legislative session ended; he took part in the 'veto session' on June 17.
