Shortly after my family moved to Shelburne in June, 2003 I attended my first "Back to the Beach" event. It has been one of my favorite events in town ever since. The 25th one is tomorrow/Thursday night, and is coincidentally also the ribbon cutting for our new beach house, which I know will serve our community well for generations to come. Details are below and we hope to see you there!

Come celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Beach House and kick off the start of the Beach season on the first day of summer with a fun picnic with friends and neighbors! Please bring a dish to share for the picnic if you're able, such as fruit, veggies or a salad. Hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, chips, and dessert along with water and lemonade will be provided. To cut down on waste, we encourage you to bring your own plates and silverware. Enjoy live music and kids' entertainment provided by The Big Blue Trunk! This event is free and open to all Shelburne Residents. There will be no charge to enter the beach for this special event! Parking is limited so carpooling is strongly encouraged. There will also be a free 12 passenger shuttle van running from 5:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every 15 minutes from the Town Center to the Beach.
