Good evening everyone.

This Thursday evening beginning at midnight, Main Street will have its annual sweeping performed. Due to the heat, the operator messaged me today and said he was going to have to operate at night so his machine doesn't over heat. He explained to me that this is a single engine sweeper, not a dual engine, so it will be much quieter than a normal street sweeping machine. Last year it only took him 4 hours to sweep the whole village to beautify it for the Fourth of July!

As usual this isn't ideal, but it's only one night for a few hours. Also, just a reminder to keep vehicles off the streets Thursday night from the Cabot creamery, to the South Walden Road/Route 215 intersection. Thank you for understanding, Sid Griggs, Road Foreman
