Community Garden Build Day & Celebration!

Come help build new community garden beds outside the Jaquith that will support community supper, the food shelf, and kids garden educational opportunities! Kids are welcome, bring the whole family to lend a hand!
*Hearty food, snacks, cold drinks & dessert provided for all!
Breakfast sandwiches, coffee and pastries from Fox Market, Pizza from the Marshfield Village Store!
The community garden re-build is possible because of funding from the Arts and Community Spaces: Coming Together After the Floods grant and is a project of the Marshfield Relocalization Committee and Resilience Hub. Our original community gardens were destroyed in the flood of 2023 and we are rebuilding with new, bigger vision! We want to offer food resilience to our community and learning opportunities for local kids in this beautiful teaching garden.
Come and be part of the celebration, lend your hands and heart to this effort, and enjoy tasty food and great company while you are here! Kids are welcome, bring the whole family!
Please bring garden tools if you can, work gloves, and a reusable cup or water bottle to fill up. We will need a couple of wheelbarrows to fill up our new garden beds with amazing soil from Vermont Compost Company, so please let us know if you could lend one for the day.
