Olli Presents Nancy Graff on Vermont Farm Life During the Depression

Osher Lifelong Living Institute presents: This week's talk will take us back to the years of the Farm Security Administration 1936-42 (an effort during the Depression to combat American rural poverty). Nancy Price Graff will display and talk to us about photographs of Vermont farm life that were the result of a survey of rural America ordered by President Roosevelt. Graff is a Montpelier based freelance writer (often writing about Vermont history), and an author of books for children and adults. She has been on the faculty at UVM and CCV.

Come and share a bit of Vermont history with us, and bring a friend.

Where: Aldrich Library, Barre
Cost: Free to OLLI members, others $5 suggested donation

As always, doors open at 12:30 for those wishing to bring a bag lunch.
