WHAT'S UP WITH THE DAM?
Hazard Mitigation Committee meets on Thursday, June 20th at Town Hall at 7 p.m. Please stop by and listen in. This is a public event, and each month we try to introduce a topic that could be a future problem for residents... for discussion and problem-solving.
This week - What are the choices for Plainfield's Batchelder Dam?
Joining us will be Michele Braun of Friends of the Winooski as well as geologist George Springston to look at the strengths and weaknesses of dam; its upside and its downside... as well as an update on a forthcoming dam study, and a look at the upstream banks of the Winooski.
