Calling all Burlingtonians! Thursday, June 20 from 5-7pm is looking to be a peak event for electricity usage. SAFELY reducing our energy use during peaks helps keep costs low, protects the environment, and supports local nonprofits. If we meet our goal, we'll donate a portion of the savings to Boy Scout Troop 658, which engages in community service in Burlington, including monthly cooking and distributing dinner for the homeless at the Salvation Army and Hope Lodge, participating in Green Up Day at various locations around Burlington, cleaning and placing new flags in Burlington cemeteries, and helping to clean and maintain the Ethan Allen Homestead.
